Timeless and precious September 27 2015 1 Comment
How could my parents continue attending their high school reunions? But they did – the 40th, 50th, 60th.
I could never do that, I thought. Too much has happened over the decades. I look different. I feel different. I think differently.
But a few years ago, a bunch of us who graduated together started getting together a couple of times each summer.
Something magical happened, we all agree: we look and sound exactly as we did in high school. Crazy, but it’s true - at least to us.
The “girls” remind me of who I am. They teach me that the more things change, the more they remain the same. And that’s a good thing.
Old friends are timeless and precious - like rubies and pearls.

love this piece, of course! Also love that you gave a shout out to our high school group. It is amazing that we have taken the step to meet time and again and we can pick up exactly where we left off the summer before. We are good for each other.
How was the wedding and how is your foot?
