Leaving a mark October 04 2015

Each of my life experiences, good and bad, has left its mark. All those marks join together to tell who I am and help to record my story.

My furniture also reflects my life. My antique pieces tell stories of those who have gone before me.

None of us want our furniture marked with coffee or water stains.  That’s why we use coasters.

But if a table becomes marked, the spot or ring will remind me of the life it has had and, by extension, my life with family and friends. Wanted or not, the marks tell our stories.

You can see my “Coasters” here.
