A bicycle built for two or three February 14 2016 2 Comments

When my siblings and I were young, we enjoyed many family car trips. One of the ways we passed the miles was by singing along with my father at the top of our lungs songs such as “You are my Sunshine” and other oldies. What we lacked in skill, we made up for with enthusiasm.

One of my favourites was:
“Daisy, Daisy give me your answer do.
I’m half crazy all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage,
I can’t afford a carriage.
But you’ll look sweet,
Upon the seat,
Of a bicycle built for two.”
