All Glass by Charis coasters are handmade. Besides the time needed for preparation and design, each coaster spends 24 hours in the kiln. To add variety, I use my own hand-crushed glass (frit). My process often adds bubbles in the glass and no piece is perfectly square, adding to its appeal.
